Well I had a membership for 2-3 years never used it. I didn’t have the heat to telling the person behind the counter. The place smells all the time. The chlorine is way to high compare to other gyms with pools... all I wanted since I paid for so long and never used it was to not get charged for canceling it. They told me that’s not an option, ok well I’m letting everyone know they this location is dirty... and will repost on IG and Twitter and all the other social media’s

A LOT OF NEW EQUIPMENT, CLEANING PEOPLE ARE ALWAYS WIPING DOWN EQUIPMENT. SOME PEOPLE SAY IT IS LOUD,I WORK OUT WITH EAR PHONES ,WHEN THEY ARE NOT IN ,I STILL DON'T THINK IT IS TOO LOUD .IT IS A LARGE OPEN SPACE SOME THINGS ARE EXPECTED. I PERSONALLY THINK IT'S A GOOD GYM,NO ATTITUDES, DESENT PEOPLE AND ENOUGH EQUIPMENT TO KEEP YOU BUSY WITH YOUR WORKOUT
It is always too loud and they don't care...come get healthy and lose your hearing in the process. It is painfully loud and I have to wear ear plugs that I sweat into...and it is still too loud... They shouldnt have classes with loud music in open space infringing on everyone else's experience....but they do... Often.
Despite some problems I had with the club while injured - since my return my Small Group Trainer, Jennifer Vallone Knight is OUTSTANDING. She goes above and beyond and really cares about your progress, well being and helping you work through injury recovery - all while pushing you to be your BEST and STRONG. Her Burn / Spin Classes are equally challenging and fun. She's MOTIVATING and SINCERE. Plus, there is nothing more welcoming when you walk in and many at check-in recognize you by name - especially Laurie!
NYSC Ramsey has a whole new management team and they are making some great changes. The facility is about to see some great upgrades. Stay tuned.
Once again NYSC Ramsey didn't open on time this morning. It's Supposed to open @ 6:30 but as of 7 still closed. What better way to start your Saturday by getting up early in the morning to sit in your parking lot. This has to be the 5th time over the years that this happened since I joined. I guess this is what you get for the $10 membership hike per month I am paying for this year. I would have been gone years ago if it weren't for the basketball court. My son had a student membership. I signed him up over the phone with a credit card so I never received a copy of the contract (there's a chance my son may have received a copy, but he's 15 so you know how that goes). I paid the $75 yearly fee in November of 2016 and then paid the monthly fee all year. I canceled the membership in November of 2017 and was required to pay the additional yearly fee because I didn't cancel 45 days prior to the time his year was expiring. No exceptions.
