We've moved 9 times in 7 years, including one international move and we'd rate these guys as high as the national movers, if not more. They were extremely careful with our belongings, had the right balance of doing things quickly vs. doing it right, and were also mindful of the surroundings (e.g. not dinging walls, keeping carpets/floors clean, etc). And the bill came out to be less than we anticipated because they didn't charge outrage prices for supplies. They even let us use their wardrobes free of charge!
These guys were great. Everything was done neatly and quickly and with a lot of care. I had a sofa that almost did not fit through the stairway of my new place, but they didn't give up until they figured out a way to get it in - that required taking off the leg and rebuilding the sofa. The bonus is that the team is friendly and fun
What better testimony than the fact that I keep coming back. They are efficient and very considerate of the fact that you are getting charged by the hour. They are very careful with all of your stuff (and your walls and floors). Almost nothing has gone wrong with any of the moves, but things are bound to go wrong once in a while. A week after my move,( which went very smoothly) I get a call from New York Cheapest Movers, and they told me that they found a box that belonged to me in their truck. I was so suprised I didn't even know that I was missing anything at all.
I would once again like to express my thanks to New York Cheapest Movers - Packers & Movers for a seamless move. I have used you guys in the past & asked for Dave to again be my foreman. As with my last 2 moves he took control of the situation & run the job with no problems(including carrying the sofa up 4 flights of stairs) . Not that I look forward to moving again, but if I do it will certainly be with New York Cheapest Movers - Packers & Movers. Thanks guys...

Great Service! I was more than satisfied with them . The New York Cheapest Movers - Packers & Movers crew arrived on time and worked over time to complete an unexpected task. I know they were fatigue, because of the extra work, but they were very careful with our furniture and kept a great attitude! I called a lot of companies about my move and while Mark the Movers was not the cheapest, they were definitely the best. They did not try to play games with me and after the experience I think their pricing is more than fair. They arrived on time, worked the entire time and did my move in record time! I will be using them again and recommend that you use them as well. Also, they were always very nice on the phone when I called with questions.
I just moved from Baltimore to New York City and my experience with this company was very positive. I booked my move with Anna and she was awesome and beyond professional, after booking I then delt with Andrew the operations manager and he was equally a joy to deal with. This is my 4th long distance move and NYC Movers just exceede my expectations in every way possible.
