My second show in two years and already planning my next. Superb panels, vibrant and fun as it was before. A few thoughts, The Block felt odd in its new location, whoever decided to put the Star Wars stage facing the back wall needs a crash course in event planning and Artists Alley downstairs was crazy busy BUT the thought of a new Ballroom and more expansions means surely New York Comic Con will surpass San Diego very soon as the number one con.
Horrendous!!! Way Too many people ,,,A/C didn't work in half the building , too much body odor going around in that shit show Never again!!!
I had a fairly good time at the con yesterday. Of course it was crowded. There were pockets on the show floor where you just could barely move; like in the back. You'd think it would be a fire hazard or something. The booths in the back aisles leave a very narrow space from those along the back wall. It could take 20 minutes walking from one corner in the back to the other.
A blast as always. Entry way check ins keep getting better and better. It's very crowded on the show floor which is to be expected at a con with Cloe to 180,000 people. I might suggest a ban on strollers, most of the time the kids arn't even in them and they take up to much space and we're not meat to maneuver such tight spaces and crowds. Get a sitter for the day or get one of those baby packs the day would be better for all yourself included. The temp artist alley is to closed in if 1 row was taken out and put somewhere el... read more
comic con is way too crowded. It felt unsafe and uncomfortable to be there.. I had to keep moving or risk being push and bumped at every turn.. Human traffic jams everywhere... I feel like they sold way too many tickets.. Every line was like a 20 min even to do something a stupid as stand next to a statue and take a picture...Its a shame.. Its nobody's fault..It is what it is.. Just way way overcrowded
Ive been going to comic con for years now and the crowd ate getting worst i went with my son to see JDF (Green ranger) and i got kicked off line along with half the line because we was over crowded long story short my son was disappointed and we didnt get to see JDF... they need to expand the Javits center or find a bigger location so its not over crowded
I've been attending NYCC since its first year. This is the premier event for comics, video games, and pop culture on the East Coast and perhaps anywhere outside of SDCC. It continues to get bigger and better each year! Yes, the crowds get overwhelming at times, but can you blame so many people for wanting to take everything in? The show floor is always a great experience but the panels and signings with creators are what keep me coming back year after year.
This was our 2nd NYCC and we are already thinking about our 3rd! Had a lovely time attending Fri/Sat and we didn't get to do everything we wanted but no biggie - there just isn't enough time! Saw several panels and the NYCC Live Cast Interviews were cool, too. Artist Alley was too crowded but hopefully next year that will be fixed once the construction is complete. For the most part, staff and attendees were gracious and welcoming. Keep up the great work! :D :D
First time Comic Conner- I will be there every year until I die- BELIEVE IT!
