My first ever nycc event this year and I loved it. I missed certain events and stuff because I was not familiar with the whole “reserving your seats in advance” method but next year I will be more prepared. I regret that I only bought the ticket for one day and not two. All of the best stuff came on Saturday. All in all I loved it, and it made an impression on me. And the Photo Ops were great: who can beat mark hamill(Luke Skywalker)and peter capaldi(12th Doctor)? Next time I will be going two or three days...
ReedPop and Javits Center Staff and crew worked great this year, especially with the changes needed around the construction. Getting in was a breeze, metal detector checkpoints and security were friendly and courteous every step of the way. Employees on the show floor were always helpful and informative. Thanks for another awesome year!
I loved it! Me and my sons have been there for the past 4 years and there is always something new to see. The only disappointments were not being able to see the stars and the prices were ridiculous. Some of us can't afford to pay over 200 dollars to meet people who wouldn't be there if it wasn't for the fans. I grew up on Star Wars and Star Trek and to have to pay that kind of money to meet them is crazy. I don't know who sets the prices but they need to think of everyone.... I have been going to comic con since 2008 and every year the crowds are worse and worse. At points I couldn't even look at a booth because there was no way to get to it, you took away the 3 day and 4 day passes for no reason and made me spend more money to try and enjoy my weekend. Also there should be no strollers and do not allow children under 5, I have a 2 year old and would never bring him with me or be like other parents and allow him to walk around the crowds.
Comic con was great! I enjoyed dressing up, my boyfriend was the "Friendship" Sub zero killing it, and my friend was also the Jacob Javits center itself! Two epic costumes that were apart of an amazing year at 2017 comic con. Can't wait for next year!
Was at Comic Con Saturday and Sunday. Had a good time but the crowds are really getting out of control. At one point, I felt like I was part of a herd of buffalo, basically being dragged along with the crowd and unable to break out to the other side, And what is with these people who drag baby carriages with little children into this massive crowd? Still, I bought some good stuff and probably will be back next year.
And another great year !!!! Can't wait till next !
4 years in a row. It's getting harder and harder to move . At one point it was gridlock for periods of time. But, I go to see the Cosplaying, some are out of this world beautiful, and off course my daughter is one of those that cosplays every Year. I wish it could be in a bigger place, but "if wishes were horses, beggers would ride" 😍😍😍 But all together it was beautiful.
