Absolutely disturbing that NYCB and several male dancers violete the basic rights and dignity of their female ballerinas .The talent and elbotare performance of the dancers are not a cover up to what horrible humans they are and the hostile environment the ballet co created and allowed in between their walls ,while degrading their females employees .As a dancer and lover of ballet I’m appalled and will never attand a show or anything the NYCB is associate with !
The New York City Ballet fails to take responsibility for the sexism and mistreatment of female members and students that operate within their walls claiming misconduct as happening outside of the institution. NYCB needs to take responsibility for the actions and misconduct of disgusting male members as NYCB created the learning environment in which these infectious behaviors fermented. I hope donors pull their funding for NYCB not claiming any responsibility. Times up, gentlemen.

The best ballet company anywhere. I would say "arguably" but there's not much argument in my opinion. Wonderful custodians of Balanchine's repertory, fabulous dancers (Tiler Peck, Sara Mearns, Sterling Hyltin and Maria Kowroski are standouts), great new choreographers including Justin Peck.
