The best of the best dancers! The most spectacular productions! Tonight it was Sleeping Beauty, and it was magnificent! Worth every penny!
The ballet also said that it had no legal duty to “safeguard” Waterbury from her creepy boyfriend just because he performed with their troupe. The lawsuit also named Finlay and fellow dancers Amar Ramazar and Zachary Catazaro.
Quit enabling abusers. I love ballet. I hope that New York City Ballet will quit giving bullies like Peter Martins his old access. Your dancers/employees deserve respect. I know you are trying to change, but you need to train anybody collaborating with the company and make them pass that training/sign an agreement about terms and conditions. Ballet deserves a future. That Old World male mentality needs to evolve and include women and more people of color.
