I recommend ballets by Balanchine, Robbins, Wheeldon, and occasionally Martins and others. The good news for ballet fans is that our seats will be available for ballets by Peck and "post modern"choreographers. For 15 years I saw at least 12 performances a year, more during Diamond Project, but now I struggle to find one per season that I want to attend. "Modern interpretations of the classics" tend to demonstrate why classics are classic.
Only dancers who are the very best of the best in this incredible country and in this world who have the opportunity to audition, are actually picked to join this amazing institution. The Ballet Dancers with strict discipline and extreme passion and commitment help to make NYCB the Best of the Best. How lucky we all are 💕
