Rude receptionist, called for emergency surgery because they were recommended by another vet hospital. Not for nothing, they are the initial point of contact and for them to be rude definitely turns heads away. If the receptionist is rude then why would I still want to come in? Please look at the people you hire.
Thank you to the entire staff, especially Dr. Schwartzreich. Our girl is a complicated senior Doxie, and Dr. Schwartzreich has gone above and beyond to help figure out how we can help our girl. His knowledge, diligence, patience and compassion make for an excellent vet. Thank you to his staff, front end and behind the scenes, they are also knowledgeable, patient and compassionate - everything you want and need when it comes to care for your fur baby.
New Rochelle Animal Hospital was the safe harbor we relied upon throughout the lives of our previous two cats, Puddy and Abbie, and continues to provide the same expertise and reassurance with our newest beloved, Solace. Dr. Schwartzreich and staff are an integral part of our lives, and they have our gratitude and loyalty.
What’s not to love about this place? From Dr. Schwartzreich to Angela, Maria, and the rest of the staff, everyone is friendly, caring, and informative. I’m currently on my second furbaby with them, and Storm definitely has ALL the issues 😂, but I never have a problem getting an appointment when I need one. It’s always nice to find a place that feels more like family and less like a stuffy vet practice. They truly make you and your pets feel comfortable and cared for. I’m so grateful for them!
I had an awful experience trying to establish my pet as a new patient. I was told that beyond the $50 deposit toward the $95 visit that I wasn’t allowed to ask for a ballpark estimate of certain services. My cat has asthma so I know at some point they’d ask for bloodwork and a chest X-ray, and I was interested in allergy testing. When I asked for the estimate I was told it depends on what the vet wants done.
