Would not treat my actual condition or take any of my concerns seriously. I saw every psychiatrist and nurse practitioner this office had available and did not receive adequate care at any point, just had them try to prescribe extremely expensive new medications that were inappropriate for my condition and resulted in very unpleasant side effects and I was threatened with legal action for refusing to take medications I knew were harming me. I believe this is a scam.
This place is the worst psychiatric place you can ever go to. I was sent there 2 years ago and the whole experience was completely dehumanizing. The metal detections was outrageous, I got constantly yelled at for doing the most simplest things, and they make you do an IQ test while you’re at your lowest point and having a panic attack on your first day. I went here a couple years ago and it was the worst experience ever. I got dresscoded multiple times, for wearing a dress that didn't hit my knees, which is insane because it's a mental health facility. A staff member yelled at me whenever she was frustrated, and would storm out of the room and throw a tantrum. They would take away fidgets from kids who needed them, and they would yell at me for coloring? I never saw the same therapist twice, which caused for an unstable environment. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE, my son who is 16 was taken here for suicidal ideation, depression and behavioral concerns recommended by the ER @ Beaumont Hospital Troy aka Corewell Health and social workers at the hospital, I drove him on day 1 to complete intake paperwork and arranged for transportation as I have to work, Day 1 seemed like it was going to be good, he came home told me how his day went and said everyone was nice, Day 2, transport arrives to pick him up, he had his water bottle with him and was told to dump it,... read more
Utterly horrible. First they scheduled me with someone who was on their very last day and they told me they weren't taking new patients, so they said they would put me back in the system to get a new therapist. Well, after 2 months of waiting i decided to call them back and it turns out they forgot about me entirely. So they set me up with a new therapist and scheduled an appointment, but then when the appointment came the therapist never showed up (telehealth).
