I highly recommend The quality and freshness of the food, the variety and taste was simply unbelievable. I am and have been a fan of Indian food, but these guys know how to use spices.
hands down favorite indian restaurant This is my favorite indian restaurant of all time (and i am from NYC). The chicken tikka masala, chana masala, chicken seekh kabob, malai kofta, garlic naan and samosas are the must try dishes. They also have a delicious lunch buffet with a huge selection of their best entrees. Very affordable and delicious. The staff is always attentive if reserved!
I had an Entertainment Book coupon. The staff said they no longer honor them. They offered a $6 discount on 2 dinners (instead of the $13 Entertainment Book). I said that would be OK since we wanted to try this restaurant. They only took $5 off the ticket and the food made my husband ill. I would NOT recommend this restaurant.
terrible experience..service was ok..but who force you for 15% gratuity with just 2 persons..and don't accept credit card for < $7 .. no more visits..
I am Indian and dont eat at Indian restaurants very often because we cook Indian food at home everyday. But there comes a day when you want garlic naan and tandoori tikka's. Most of the restaurants put lots of cream etc in their dishes and mostly they come out to be little sweeter then spicier. MAN OHH MAN this place is one of the best restaurant Indian food I have had in long time. Everything was so perfect and delicious. Just became its loyal customer.....
My favorite Indian Restaurant! – Good food, good prices. I come here often. You can vary the spiciness. My favorites are the baigan bartha (eggplant) and the saag paneer. The chicken dishes are all really good also, delicious combination of tender meet and balanced sauces. Check it out!
Service is average, good food – I don't quite understand the bad reviews (then again, I haven't eaten their lunch buffet in years.) The service is adequate, nothing special. The food is good though and I like that there are several vegetarian dishes they will "veganize" for you-this is less for me a concern about dairy products and more about not eating large quantities of cream and butter with my meal. A friend of mine says she dreams about their okra dish. They have a wide selection of naan and it's excellent.
Terrible. Don't always expect food to eat at this place. – First, I will say that I would have given it 0 stars, but that is not allowed. I have dined at this restaurant for years. Our first dining experience was in the evening, from the menu. From what I recall, everything was good. The last year or so, we have dined here, mostly the lunch buffet. We arrived there the other day at 1:30 (an hour before the restaurant was to close for lunch), and again the buffet was running out of food. This has happened before, but that was... read more
