We worked with Shameela this summer at New Horizons Psychology. We were able to get an appointment really fast to start the process of completing a psycho-educational assessment for our child. Shameela was very friendly, patient and detailed in working with us. I would highly recommend this service to other parents seeking to understand their child’s strengths and weaknesses.
Susan is a very caring and conscientious psychologist who takes a great deal of time with her clients. She builds a rapport with them before engaging in the assessment and she has a genuinely caring heart that shows through her work with her clients. I trust her knowledge and skills as a professional and would highly recommend her
Working with Susan was a very positive experience. She respectfully and professionally addressed our questions and worked to provide us with sound information and analysis. Importantly - and contrary to our past experience with another educational testing company - Susan at New Horizons went deeper into the literature and, when required, sought input from colleagues and complementary experts. For us, this was the mark of a caring professional.
Susan has done psychoed assessments for both my kids. She is always very patient and accommodating. She has helped develop IEPs for both as well, and is always available for follow up consultations or questions, or to help us find a colleague if she is not able to help with a particular issue.
Susan is a caring and knowledgeable psychologist. She is an amazing resource and offers practical strategies and a kind perspective. Highly recommend her services!
