The food is great, the same quality as any other chinese take out. You get what you expect. I have heard rumors about this place however never had an issue personally. The atmosphere inside isint the most pleasant, I always take out. The staff are great and polite. I always get thrown off by them being closed on mondays.
This is hands down the best Chinese food I’ve had in New Rochelle. Food is delicious and fresh. Their portions are generous and the service is always great. I recommend trying the fried cheese dumplings.
I ordered the lunch special and honestly it was pretty disappointing. The beef had a weird smell and was really tough, almost impossible to chew. The mushrooms had a strong earthy, muddy taste that made them hard to swallow. The fried rice was orange, which makes me doubt it was actually cooked with egg otherwise it really shouldn’t be that color. I ate here twice in the last week. First time was decent. Got chicken and eggplant in garlic sauce. Way too much sauce but wasn’t bad. My second meal was awful. Chicken and broccoli in black bean sauce. This time most of the chicken was rubber hard. Couldn’t chew it. It was gross. Also again an absurd amount of sauce and oil. I was also annoyed that I asked for ginger added to the dish and the worker charged me $1 for a few measly tiny ginger pieces. I can buy an entire thing of ginger for $1. One of the better places I've had chinese take out. It tastes like NYC quality. There is only 2 feedbacks. I wish there was more of that curry powder flavor for the Singapore mei fu. It was a little bland and the button mushrooms aren't really necessary for the hot and sour soup. Other than that everything was on par
