Love the family friendliness and very reasonable prices at The New Chalet! We’ve never been disappointed here - everything is delicious, their catering included - all dishes have distinct flavor, not bland and same-tasting as most other catering companies I’ve tried. Highly recommend!!
Breakfast was good.... but I sure do miss the Friday night fish frys! Perch to die for!
Had the "New Chalet Burger" which is a very special unique menu item. Nothing like it around! Our waitress Lori is tremendously attentive.

One of the best restaurants in Ottawa good home cooked food. Best breakfast around. Their pasta sauce is awesome. Real good prices. The nicest people around.
