I wanted to place a take out order at 1:50pm. The sign on the door said they were open until 2pm. When I walked in I was told they were closed and all the cook have went home. Will not go back.

The New Chalet makes awesome omelets and the best American fries that I’ve had anywhere around here. Their fried chicken is delicious and cooked just right, and the sweet potato waffle fries are fantastic! And the prices are very reasonable!!! Everyone their is very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is always clean and comfortable, and the service is great. I definitely recommend the New Chalet!
I eat here almost every day! They have great food, convenient window for when I’m on the go and a comforting atmosphere. Recently my son left his $200 retainer in a napkin there. I realized it at bedtime. I called the next day to forewarn them I would be checking the dumpster after I got off work. About and hour later they called me back to inform me that they went out for me and and found it!!!! Thank you Dave and Cheryl for going above and beyond when you didn’t have to do that!

The New Chalet is a cozy family style restaurant. The wait staff is always friendly, the food is good, prices fair and it's clean. Great place for breakfast and lunch!!
