So glad we found Jerry and New Ability. Not only did he install hand controls in our new car quickly and at a fair price, he also proactively let us know that GM has a mobility assistance program that will give you up to a $1500 for accessibility modifications to a car purchased from them in the last 6 months. He even a sent us a photocopy of our invoice and paid check so we had that on hand to submit with the application. We submitted and were approved in one day. Couldn't be happier.

My husband and I are very grateful to Jerry for installing hand controls in our car. He helped us when no one else would. He is very knowledgeable and professional. He takes his time to make sure the hand adaptation works best for the individual, while also making sure you can get behind the wheels fast. We strongly recommend him.

Went there to install left foot gas pedal. It took the whole morning but it was time well spent. Jerry did a great job. The parts installed are definitely an improvement over previous ones.

Jerry has transferred my hand controls into two different vechiles so far and I could be more please with the work he has done. I highly recommend New Ability to anyone in northern IL. I have called just about every vechile modifier for people with disabilities in northern IL and he was by far the most economical and does great work!
