Leon Perel, MD is the most inconsiderate disrespectful rude person I have ever had the experience of dealing withl This provider called me a drug seeker for Tramadol after being on it for 7 years. No doctor/bedside manner at all didn't want to hear anything I had to say only wanted to hear himself speak. I waited over a month for this medication management appointment for him to tell me he doesn't prescribe he only does interventional medicine, which is a lie. I asked the medical assistant. Dr. Thorn actually cares about my pain. He’s amazing. He listens. Very caring and understanding. I’m still in pain unfortunately but he’s not giving up on my case.
They are excellent
If you can avoid NVCPC, do so! They are difficult to reach and they seem to have no sense of urgency even though they are dealing with people who are in pain. It took them ONE MONTH to even SUBMIT information to the insurance company to get approved for a procedure. ONE MONTH! I find that to be ridiculous, now we still have to wait, dealing with pain, for the approval. IF you can avoid NVCPC, do so!!!
