I have been a patient of Dr. Peragine’s for about 3 years now and I’m so thankful to have him as part of my team. His bedside manner is much appreciated and he actually listens to me when I have questions and concerns. I have had well over 20 procedures with him due to chronic issues and he’s always included me in decisions and offers great explanations. He is also good at responding to requests and questions through the patient portal which makes my life easier.
I am reviewing to express my deep disappointment regarding Neurosurgery One’s policy of not completing SSI/SSDI paperwork for patients. As a patient of Neurosurgery One for nearly a year, I am disheartened by this practice, which I believe is harmful to the disabled community. When individuals applying for SSI do not have sufficient medical documentation, they often lose their cases. I am a retired Peace Officer and Veteran. I was injured back in 97 and have struggled to keep going. When I met Dr. Bohnen I was at my lowest point in my life. My wife of 27 years had just passed and I had struggled to get free of Oxytocin and the after effects of being cut off. Dr. Bohnen did something that most doctors can't seem to do, she just listened.
