I have left more drs visits with a heavy heart, literally only my PCP has made me feel heard. I had a follow up appointment today with Dr. Keith Brecher and he actually makes me feel hopeful for the first time! He actually listens! Whenever I have specialists they never seem to check any of the pain areas or even ask any questions, Dr. Brecher listens and makes me feel like we are going to find the answers finally!
I had an initial appointment with Dr Brecher today and I found him to be pleasant, engaging, and efficient. We discussed my current treatment plan and he offered other options that could be considered, discussing side effect profiles and considerations of each. I was seen on time, he sat down and had a conversation with me while documenting the note (as an health care provider I know notes have to get done so I love the fact he can have an engaging conversation with me while getting the business of healthcare done!). This doctor we have been seeing for my mother is not even worth 1 star. It is clear he arrives at work because he needs a paycheck, not to help his patients. His evaluation consists of asking who the president is and what year it is. In his mind, if you are able to construct a sentence and answer these questions, there's no problem. My first visit was this week. We found him to be very informative. There are a couple of paths we could take and we agreed to his recommendation. He was through with his questions and let us ask ours. Although, most of ours questions were answered in his explanations. We would highly recommend Dr. Brecher. Looking forward to our follow-up appointment. We'd like to add his office help were also a true pleasure. They made our day. Thank you!
I am a patient of Dr. Breacher for a few years now. I am very pleased with his practice and he listens to me and takes his time to explain things to me.I would recommend him.
Afternoon appointment and there was almost no wait to be seen by Dr. Brecher. He was very thorough in explaining my husband's diagnosis and prognosis. He listened and made us feel at ease about my husband's condition.
I would NOT recommend this practice or Dr. Brecher. I've been trying to find the cause of an involuntary neck movement for a few months and was referred to this practice. Both of my parents have multiple neurological disorders, so I didn't want to wait on this. The RNP was very dismissive of my concerns and expressed that she had never heard of one of my mother's neurological disorders. That was unsettling. Dr. Brecher was very kind and understanding. He was professional and knowledgeable. We felt like we were in very good hands.
