My experience with Neuro Heart and Vascular Clinic has been extremely satisfying. My Neurologist Celina Hamdan is outstanding in her Profession. She is very knowledgeable, Attentive, Kind, Listens to her patients, and goes above, and beyond to ensure outstanding health care needs. I am thankful to have her as my doctor. My partner and I went in for issues that he was having. Seline was very dismissive and didn't even want me to talk. He had an MRI and it took him calling and 4 weeks later to get any kind of results and they were very dismissive in his opinion. If I were you, I would find another neurologist. In my opinion. You are there to treat patients and not act as though you are higher than thou! Some of us have titles and don't act that bad in my opinion. I went in for a consultation a couple of months ago with Celine Hamden PA.She was very rude and very dismissive.She wouldn't even let my partner talk or have any input and wouldn't let me have much say , She didn't take anything I said seriously. In my opinion,She seemed to be a little bit phobic. It took 4 weeks to get my MRI results. I was basically told I was getting old and to handle things myself. I don't recommend her or this group to anyone. She is very unprofessional.

Dr. Akhtar is a fantastic cardiologist. My wife was having chest pain and symptoms consistent with pericarditis. I got her into contact with him on a Saturday morning as his phone was on-call for the TN Heart Clinic. He was able to see my wife just a few hours after her call. He did a full EKG and ECG work up and was able to give her a diagnosis. He went out of his way to help her with her acute flare-up of pericarditis. Excellent bedside manner and great pricing for out-of-pocket care! We can’t recommend him enough.

Dr. Akhtar took care of my Dad during his Heart Illness . He is a Great Cardiologist, very knowledgeable and has expertise in managing complicated cases which makes him unique among his peers. I would Highly recommend him especially if looking at alternative to open heart surgery. Will be following him along to his new practice.
