On this transaction I had the pleasure of working with Julia Young while i was supporting the buyer on the mortgage side. She was fantastic to work with, extremely communicative, and everything went very quick and seamless. You can tell from the initial conversation that shes an expert in her field. The house looked incredible and the value came in high. I would recommend anyone looking for a new home in the Indianapolis area to stop right here and call them to make it happen!
Difficult to work with. Builder left trash in the vents that our inspector caught. Took weeks to get them to fix everything they said they’d have “later today.” Duplex units are not well sound proofed…both units can listen to each other’s tv shows or phone calls. Slow to respond to the warranty problems you will have. Wouldn’t recommend
AVOID THIS BUILDER. 1. Warranty takes WEEKS and never responds. 2. They use cheap electrical heat strip for heating the home with no heat pumps I kid you not we got an electricity bill for 800$ and other similar builds I have talked to from this group have seen similar prices if not more. 3. When we received the house at closing it was not in new build condition and was extremely dirty and required professional cleaning from my own expense.
My property management team manages two duplexes that were built by Neu. Use caution with this builder, especially when it comes to their builder warranty. We had multiple hvac issues that took several days to be resolved. One occurred during 90 degree weather and the other occurred during zero degree weather and took 7 days to be looked at. We were concerned about frozen water lines and moved forward scheduling our own vendor and Neu refused reimbursement for the invoice.
Do not, I repeat, do not trust them to build your home. Terrible workmanship, and even worse accountability when time came to follow up on warranty claims. Unresponsive, unprofessional and unworthy of your time and money.
