Our mission is simple: To create beauty inside and out for each of our clients, to have a comfortable atmosphere to kick back, relax and get their hair done. To help the client look just as good as they feel, or better and leave their problems at the door. Making it not just a hair shop, but also a second home. We carry Aveda, a color and product line that is plant derived, responsibly sourced, non-petroleum based, and packaged with recycled materials.

RecommendedSarah did wonders with my dry, damaged hair. She patiently showed me how to embrace my curls rather than fight the frizz with heated styling tools. What a difference the moisturizing line of Aveda styling products did for my hair! I love my natural, healthy new style. I highly recommend this salon and their talented stylists to make you feel beautiful in a fun, casual environment.

Shannon was my hairstylist in the recent past located at Lake of the Ozarks...so glad to find her and reconnect! The two hour drive was SO worth my results...tried other hairstylists...to no avail. Shannon is tops in my book!
I recently moved back near Springfield and needed to find a new hairdresser. I wanted a place that uses Aveda products and decided to give Twisted Hair Shop a try since they do. Kae did my hair today and did an amazing job! I wanted a new color and it turned out beautiful 😁 I love my cut too. I have some natural curl to my hair so having someone understand how important the right cut is really matters. I loved how it turned out and already have a second appointment!❤️
I went in with pictures and descriptions. I got nothing I asked for, worst haircut ever, damaged hair. Save your money. Go someplace more qualified.

I came here to see Kandi based on the recommendation of a dear friend of mine since the person who used to do my hair no longer had availablity when I did due to some major life changes (no hate here, we are all busy and life happens). Going to a new hair stylist is beyond nerve wracking for me. I booked a consultation with Kandi and she went over everything with me and really made me feel at home. Robin does a great job with my brows and she has also done a fantastic job with my hair!! And she did a wonderful job on my daughters hair as well!!
