This biker's and surfer's local hangout is about as casual as you can get. Order your meal in a cafeteria-style line and pick it up on a paper plate from a window that connects to the kitchen. Still, the seafood and sandwiches are delicious and you can't beat the location, which is just across from the ocean. The dress code is nonexistent, so bring your flip-flops and bathing suit. Try the shrimp, the Fried Calamari or any of the fresh fish plates.

Locals only – I wish I could join the Neptune's Net love fest, but this place is over-rated. I guess hunger is the best sauce, so if you're not starving after surfing 3 hours, this may not be the place for you, especially if you're a normal person and are watching your budget. Service for me was pretty bad; I was treated like I wasn't even there. I'm not a surfer guy or a Harley person, so maybe that's why I was on the pay-no-mind list. Man, that was humiliating. In any event, I left with some some shrimp, fries and soda in ... read more
Calabunga, Baby! – Surfers love it, families love it, blue collared guys like it, even MOVIE STARS like it. Casual, fun, entertaining and the best clam chowder EVER! Not a fancy place, just come as you are and come get some grub! My family loves it. Thanks Neptune's!
A seafood shack where "Easy Rider" Americana meets the laissez-faire spirit of coastal Southern California. – The Scene This glorified roadside shack is situated alongside Malibu's picturesque Pacific Coast Highway. On weekends, Harleys rumble in, deploying wind-weathered bikers and the women who love them. The rest of the crowd is a mix of surfers, L.A. professionals and wide-eyed tourists. All gather at wooden tables that tell a scrawled history of love affairs and unspoken crushes. The Food Skip the lines for fried fish a... read more
disappointed – was there last saturday for lunch, they were out of crabs, all they had was king crab lega @ 25.oo$ a lbt hey were overcooked and salty, the rest of the food was so-so
Sunset Must Do – A great place to go after a long week to watch the sunset, enjoy good seafood, and a cold beer.
Best Clam Chowder – Neptune's serves up the best clam chowder! We go there a lot after a full day at the beach and nothing ends the day like a trip to Neptune's. Their fried food, like shrimp and scallops is ok, nothing special but the tartar sauce is really great.
malibu fun – The fried food is ok. The fresh shellfish is great, you can never have too much lobster! If you don't mind motorcycle noiise, a great place.
Great Food – Good food, plenty to eat. Love the name. Would totally recommend this to all my friends.
Worth a Trip With Visitors – But let me qualify that statement. The food is ok but expensive relative to its quality. You will wait for your food and seating can be difficult if the weather is nice. However, the drive is beautiful and I can't recommend enough the opportunity to drink a cold beer and watch the waves crash while real bikers and biker-wannabes swarm in and out of the parking lot.
