About this business

This biker's and surfer's local hangout is about as casual as you can get. Order your meal in a cafeteria-style line and pick it up on a paper plate from a window that connects to the kitchen. Still, the seafood and sandwiches are delicious and you can't beat the location, which is just across from the ocean. The dress code is nonexistent, so bring your flip-flops and bathing suit. Try the shrimp, the Fried Calamari or any of the fresh fish plates.

Cowabunga!!! – This is a cool place to grab some good eat's and catch a beautiful day. You can go wrong here stunning view of the ocean surfer style hangout. Excellent if your shaking off PCH on a luv ride. Crab cakes - fish and burgers they have something for the sea lover in you too! A favorite of mine is the Neptune Sampler. Cashiers are friendly and helpful.

Neptune's Net is a BIG disappointment – After many years of driving by the Neptune's Net, I finally stopped there for lunch yesterday. I was looking forward to having some clam chowder. The server gave me a cup of green, creamy, stuff. When I asked her about it, she said they made it green for St. Patrick's Day. Now, I was not interested in eating this greenish goo. When I told her I would rather not order it after all, I was treated rather coldly and made to stand by the counter to get my money refunded while the rest of ou... read more

Always comeing back. – Moved out of California now for some years, but still come back to visit family. And when I do, I HAVE to come here at least once (if not more) per visit. Can't beat the atsmosphere and great food, with the flavour of the ocean right next to you. Also being bias too, growing up close by in Simi Valley, this place (and the surounding coastline) will always be a fondest of memories for me, with more and more to come as life goes on. I highly recommend this place to anyone ,to at least experiance once, an... read more

Jumbo Shrimp Tastes Like Lobster – I travel,&this is my favorite seafood joint in the U.S.A. The steamed seafood is great-really fresh-& relatively reasonably priced($1xtra to upgrade to JUMBO shrimp-do it)Compared to other Malibu eateries lobster crab etc.here is a steal.Notice any bad food reviews center around the fried?this place may not have the best fish &chips(for that you go to Andrea's in Ventra),but clam strips(wide&meaty) and calamari(crunchy tenticles)are exceptional.. Now,who expects"service"from a walk up windo... read more

Tasty sourdough bread plus yummy frozen custard – The shrimp, veggies, and clam chowder are always so fresh and filling. Quite a deal in this economy. Then I fell in love with the sourdough and now have a crush on the custard. Who knew they'd steal my affections! A cool drive up the coast is a bonus too. The staff is great so tip away!

Worth the drive – This is no doubt some of the best seafood you will find in the area. Yes, you do have venture out of LA county, and yes, you will mix and mingle with a surly crew of bikers and soldiers on leave from Point Magoo, but it's all worth it. The freshest seafood you'll find anywhere (as you pick it out while it's still moving) and all of it prepared with a greasy spoon's touch for taste. Not to mention a great view and outdoor seating that's really hard to beat. There's a reason you see paparazzi shots of stars p... read more

Awesome seafood – I went there after a day at the beach, and I had a blast. We ordered calamari, fried shrimp, and fish tacos, and everything tasted really good. I wish I would've gotten the clam chowder. Someone at a booth nearby had it, and it looked delicious. I liked the casual, beachy vibe, and the service was quick.

It's about the food – If you go to places for the restrooms, and not the food... Then this isn't the place for you... If you complain that a plate of fried seafood for 10 bucks is too expensive... Then this isn't the place for you. If you complain that this place is too far away from you... Deal with it, they can't move the building... This isn't the place for you. If you spend time tallying how many shrimp you get, and complain that it's not enough for 10 bucks... Then this isn't the place for you. If you are expecting vale... read more
