I unfortunately did not verify my own benefits so i was surprised that i had to pay up front. Many offices are changing and collecting up front expecting them to know and uncerstand their benefits and to be prepared to pay up front with whatever dollar amount is spoken. As a patient i feel it would be nice and you would be more succesful telling them in the reminder call or even at scheduling. Step back and act as if you are the patient and see how it feels.
