We have hired Nelson flooring for 2 projects over the last five years. Both times he and his staff were efficient, dependable and did a fantastic job. Would definitely hire for another project!
I hired Nelson Flooring to patch and refinish the oak floors for a West Madison remodel I was working on. Robert and his crew were professional and their work was expedient and of the highest quality. I have recommended them to a number of other owners and contractors and will continue to do so!
I hired Robert Nelson to re-finish the oak floors on my East Madison home early in 2015. Their estimate for services was a lot lower than I was expecting and their work was absolutely beautiful! I'm sure their work helped my home sell as quickly as it did.
They did an excellent job on re-finishing our old floors, including moving furniture back & forth as well as patching a damaged area! If we have ever have a need for their services again I certainly will be calling them first!

Nelson Flooring did fantastic work refinishing and repairing the floors on the second floor of my house and the results are beautiful! In addition to being expert craftsmen, Robert and his crew were very professional and provided a high level of customer service. They were very responsive to questions, calls and texts throughout the process, which I appreciated. The work was excellent, the job was reasonably priced and completed on time. I had a flooring company not show up to refinish our floors while we were out of town. I called Nelson Flooring and they were able to refinish the flooring while we were still gone. Highly recommend our floors turned out great.
