Dr Nelson is the best and kindest Dr I have met in my 70 years on this planet. He takes time and explains things. He has helped me get through this pain process
I have been meaning to write this review for some time. I have lived in Palm Desert less than a year and was lucky enough to find Dr. Nelson early on through sheer happenstance. I had lived in L.A., and had had stellar pain care with various UCLA doctors and their ancillary treaters , so naturally felt that it would be difficult to match the care I had received with them. Dr. Nelson is the most intelligent and caring physician anyone could have. His diagnostic and anesthesia skills are superb.
Dr Nelson is the most compassionate dr I have ever met, he treats you with respect and knows what it takes to help you.
Second review from me: Dr. Nelson continues to treat me for pain. He is still the sweetest, kindest, best-informed pain management physician I've ever met. He listens carefully, surprisingly remembers a lot from prior visits, and gives sound advice. He's not a pill-pusher. He's a very real doctor, meaning, the kind of doctor a person hopes to find that gives real help and hope. I super-highly recommend Dr. Nelson! And, his receptionist Jackie is wonderful, too.
I HAVE BEEN SEEING DR NELSON FOR MORE THAN 4 YRS HE IS THE MOST THOUGHTFUL EFFECTIVE DOCTOR I HAVE EVER GONE TO. I AM 75 YRS OLD. AND WOULD NOT BE PAIN FREE WITHOUT HIS TREATMENT. . ALSO HE HAS DIRECTED ME TO OTHER DOCTORS AS MY NEEDS FOR OTHER MEDICAL PROBLEMS. HIS STAFF ARE VERY CONSIDERATE AND ACCOMMODATING. I FEEL LIKE A FRIEND. Dr Nelson, is the most generous and kind and SMART Dr I have been to since I have lived in the desert, lo these 18 years....I would highly recommend you. He gets straight to the point and actually CARES.
I couldn't have asked for a better pain management specialist! He listens to my symptoms and needs, answers my questions accurately and I feel he understands me. His level of excellence and willingness in providing care is rare.
