For years, my husband has undergone problems with his feet due to bone structure. Extended times of walking and standing produce ulcers that often rupture and become infected. We have visited physicians and followed their advice, but not until we came to Dr. Nels Thorderson and Amy Kuykendall, CFNP, at Orthopaedic Institute of North Mississippi, did we get satisfying results from their thorough treatment, expert care, and kindness in accommodating our needs. We highly recommend these professionals!
Although the wait time was a little long, Dr. Thorderson took a good deal of time with me and explained my problem along with several options available to me.
I have had 2 toes amputated by Dr. Thorderson. ALSO Amy, NP is great, I was glad to see her in surgery with me. Highly recommend this doctor for any foot issues.
I waited 3 weeks to get an appointment to see Dr Thordenson. I have been very anxious about the bunions on both of my feet. On the afternoon of my appointment I waited 1 1/2 hours in the waiting room to go back and see him. But I saw the nurse practitioner. He never even poked his head in. She was very nice, but she’s not who I made an appointment with. If he doesn’t care enough to even meet a new patient why would I let him operate on me?
VERY HORRIBLE!! Dr. Thorderson gave me a surgery that I didn't need. The surgery didn't fix my problem, it only made it worse. I came back multiple times complaining of pain. He didn't offer any medicines only another surgery!! After I said I didn't want to do another surgery. They then told me I couldn't come back until I paid my previous surgery bill in full!!?? Going to Dr. Thorderson was the worse decisions I could have made!! WARNING: He only want your money!!!
I had a bone cist inside my ankle. He didn't want to do surgery if something else would work because it was major surgery. We tried the other thing but sadly it didn't help and he had to go in take it out and do a bone graph. He did a great job. He is the same every time you see him, always smiling, polite and kind and explains everything very well.
Dr. Thorderson is a bright young man he makes his patients feel comfortable as possible he's also very friendly! He made me and my mom feel very comfortable as to talking to him about my foot condition!he seems to care about his patients well being.he's a very good listener! Overall the service was great!
