The ambiance is perfect, food was good, and the waiter was the best.
The food was like upscale microwave food. Salsa did not have much taste. My food was cold and seemed to be microwaved. Not what I'd expect from a restaurant. Service is good, but not the food. Used to like it but the quality of the food has declined. Cooks need to be retrained.
The shells used for the tacos was soaked in grease which made them taste like old used oil. The chicken chimi shell was the same way and with no chicken inside. Not a very good experience.
I am very sad to post this review. I have tried in several different ways to get a hold of the owner and/or son to get this resolved but no luck. My family and I love Neives's chips, salsa and special cheese. We decided to get dinner and take it home since we have not ate there in a while and was really looking forward to the delicious food served. Well that was not the case tonight.
