Had a very upsetting experience with Dr. Laura Smith that I feel compelled to share. As someone who is pregnant and seeking care, I expected professionalism, compassion, and support during this critical time. Unfortunately, not only was I turned away when I needed help the most. Absolutely terrible experience. I am considered high risk for miscarriage and found myself with new insurance and pregnant and not having established care anywhere yet and made an appointment here. I know the insurance I have and I know I need a prior authorization in order to be seen at the high risk obgyn clinic. They refused to even see me to write the prior authorization.
