my 02 Monte Carlo Just picked up my'02 Monte Carlo SS After they made many repairs. The lady in the office really knows what she's talking about, she kept me informed to the things they found bad as they delved into my car. They replaced my intake manifold and gaskets, o2 sensors, maf sensor,map sensor,engine mounts, had the exhaust repaired, replaced both hinges in my driver side door , mufti-function switch and Power steering pump. Very, very good. Scheduled times for repair work and pickup of vehicle were accurate. Quality of work was above "par". Cost were always true to estimates. If there were additional problems / additional repairs I was contacted before work was done. Vehicle was always returned "clean". Office staff was always professional and very well knowageable about the work being done. I will return to them for all of my 4 vehicles maintance. A small shop working hard to EARN your business. 5 STARS!!!
They have worked on my car many times. 2 years ago I had the starter replaced here, it was the third time I needed a new starter. They told me that this starter had a lifetime warranty but now the starter failed exactly 2 years later and when I took it back in they told me it does not have a warranty. They have had my car for a week and I've heard nothing. I call repeatedly but no answer. I am going to get it towed today and never use these guys again. We have been going there for 10 years and they just did a major repair on my car. Will always have my business. Easy to work with and give you options before fixing your car.
I took my car in to have the water pump and timing belt replaced and 52 days later they charged me over $700 more than I was originally quoted only to have a car that would not run. I had to take it into the dealer mechanic - pay an additional $541 to have them fix the damage that Neighborhoo Auto did to my vehicle. YES they had my car over 7 weeks - they charged me for parts I NEVER asked to be replaced (they did not give me the parts as I asked) and then I still had to take it someplace else to get it running.
