My mother and I went in to look at some natural-fiber yarn; Joanne welcomed us and when we told her we were, overall, looking for fire-resistant yarn, she took it as a personal challenge. The nicest, friendliest, knowledgeable people! Fabulous selection of yarn and some of the most beautiful needlepoint canvases! There is something for everyone and everyone is invited to sit and stitch!

Joanne, her staff and patrons are THE best. Needlepoints West is the nicest, most friendly, and most helpful yarn/craft /needlepoint store I have found in years. They're nestled in downtown Westchester and perfectly capture the neighborhood feel of suburbia in the heart of LA. Joanne has a wonderful selection of beautiful yarns and everything related to needlework. If she doesn't have it, she will order it for you. As soon as you walk in, you will feel welcomed.
