RecommendedI would just like to give a huge shout out to the nurses on the 4th floor (Alisia) who stayed with my friend Mick Hilditch and took such good care of him til the end. There's a special place in heaven for people like y'all!
The staff super rude, three hours before my sister in law was seen by a doctor.
Get rid of the politics and improve the nurse to patient ratio. Nurses are overworked and the ones that care burn out fast...but they still carry on.
I was admitted from the emergency room with a fractured thigh. 24 hours later no doctor has seen me and the staff can’t find the dr who was supposedly assigned to me. Do I need a lawyer? This hospital has a lot of issues. Hospitalists is just the beginning. I have yet to meet anyone who would recommend this hospital. Patients are last on their priority list.
NCH is about to implement a policy preventing Naples’ best doctors from seeing and treating their patients while hospitalized. This will create a situation in which patients not only will not, but will not be ALOUD to be treated by the areas finest physicians. Physician’ Regional has become my go-to hospital.
Between waiting hours in the ER to having my wife and I do my own woundcare in the hospital because they said it’s Friday and we are busy, to nurses not using gloves to give meds using my picc line. What a way to get an infection. Shame on you Never Come Home hospital.

I received good service and the procedure was fine. It is the AFTER care that needs work. Nurses and Techs with cloying amounts of perfume and cologne. So bad, I actually threw up. Social workers who can't be bothered to see patients in person, and just assume what the patient needs in their particular situation. When they DID show up, they did not even know what they referred me out for, and then had ZERO clue what the agency I was referred to does. INCOMPETENCE.
