Dr Nayak is an innovative and conservative surgeon who remains current with medical advances in total joint care. He and his staff explain your options and procedures well. I have been a patient for 25 years and cannot emphasize enough how caring and talented they all are. I had a total knee 2 years ago and am so happy that I did - I'm back to doing everything I like to do without fear of my knee buckling. Dr Nayak has great personality and thanks to him I now have new knee that is working better than my original. Lot of therapy and therapy at home is a must. I can't say enough positive about Dr Nayak thanks to him I'm on the road to more mobility and less pain walking! At 6 weeks post op my range of motion was 0 -133° I'm very happy with the out come!

It was a followup for shoulder surgery. I selected him because of his care and his whole team is just as great!
Recently had my left hip replaced by Dr. Nayak, 2 weeks out and never experienced any pain, tight, sore, yes but no pain. Incision healing well and PT in the future. Dr. Nayak replaced my right hip 6 years ago and as with this time I remember NO pain other than the tightness until therapy works that out. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Nayak for anyone looking for replacements.
He is the second doctor I have seen with the problem with my knees. He listened, explained the X-rays, showed me a knee model and explained what he thought may be happening, ordered another test to verify, and explained the potential plan of treatment. He answered my questions, was not judgmental, and came across as genuinely concerned for my comfort and my health.
