Customer service is failing. Automated telephone messages are no substitute for actually talking to a patient. I, like many, cannot have my cell phone with me at work due to security reasons. I received a very rude voicemail message from the staff at NMCSD criticizing me for not answering my phone or returning calls. This is absurd because I have attempted to call the same department many times and have never been able to get a human being to answer the phone. I don’t typically have great experiences with military health care, but all of my experiences at NMCSD have been wonderful. Most recently I went to the Breast Health Center for an annual exam I was very impressed. The staff was attentive, on time, and used all of the latest information and diagnostic practices. While that seems like it should be standard, many places I have been, military or not, fail to have the most up to date information and practices. The care from internal medicine and ER doctors some of the worst I’ve experienced! (Except for the nurses and HM’s, they’re great)
Disgusting, filthy, simply awful facility. The staff check patients MAYBE once an hour & there’s no call button if you need something. The floors are crazy filthy! So dirty & there was blood splatter all over my room! I can’t believe this place passes any types of inspections.
Took my daughter to the ER last night she was is rough shape with whatever virus is out there, professional and caring staff one and all. Thanks to the superb night shift in the ER and the caring personnel in 4W. Our family really appreciates your service and skills.
