My son Fenton was recently diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma it is a bone cancer. The oncologists, nurses, cna's, we're absolutely amazing!!!! We will be back there for his chemo treatment during Christmas. I am greatful during this heartbreaking time that we can take our beloved son to a place like this. Thank you also to the child life team you are all amazing people. When you have something like this happen to your child a bill is the last thing you care about. My son is in good hands. 5 stars!!!!
This place is amazing..Dr Hammel gave us hope on my sweet grandson where Indiana was always negative..The staff here are Angels on earth..Thank you All God Bless them
My husband and I stayed in the short stay unit with our almost 5 month old for his first 2 doses of meds for his hemangioma on his eyelid and we had THEE BEST experience. Our nurse, Kristin, was so amazing, caring, kind, and accommodating. We had also previously seen Dr. Suh in Opthamology and also had the best experience we could have with him and the staff there.
Our son was born 8 weeks premature, and was flown to Children's Omaha. There is not a better place that we could have been. The nurses, doctors, and specialists were sensational. I am also VERY complimentary of the Rainbow House for offering a place to stay for our family. They're truly amazing.
My son has had severe medical problems from the day he was born. We have been coming here for the past 3 years! We love the drs and staff. They are the first ones that are really trying to find a diagnosis not just slap a “band-aid” on each issue that arises. My only complaint: we live 6 hours one way and due to our sons medical problems it is very difficult for him to do that drive in a day plus the expense gets difficult. You really need to offer Telemed to your patients that live so far away especially for follow ups and ... read more
Scheduler should be fired! They messed up 2 scheduled urology appointments for my son. My son saw the doctor September 13th and requested he have some testing done with a follow-up appointment. when they called to set up the testing and my sons appointment it was scheduled out 2 months which is ridiculous . A week before his appointment they called and admitted they made an error when they scheduled his appointment. They then proceeded to make another appointment for today at 3:45. We showed up and the appointment was for ye... read more
Business response:
Jen, we are sorry to learn that you had a negative experience with us, and understand your frustration. Your message has been shared with appropriate leadership so we can do better going forward. We apologize for this inconvenience.
The staff with Dr. Miller performed a lifesaving procedure known as a craniosynostosis correction for my daughter about a year and a half ago. Everyone at children’s was more than helpful, plus kind, caring and considerate during this exceedingly difficult time. They did an amazing job with her surgery and we left feeling more confident that our daughter would be fine. Today she is a happy and healthy almost two year old and we wouldn’t have that without Dr. Miller’s team at Children’s.
Took my 3 month old to the ER for an elevated temp of 101.3 a nasty, wet cough, runny nose, and retracted breathing. The doctor came in listened to her for a quick second, checked her ears and told me my daughter was doing this for attention and needs more Tylenol for her fever and sent us home. Took her to her primary doc today because she continues to have a fever of 101.2 and found out she has a really bad ear infection! Will not ever go back to Children’s!!! 😡
