We were sent to Children’s Medical Center to an orthopedist for a simple fracture that needed casted. First of all it did not make any sense why the cast could not have been placed by the pediatrician with Children’s in Plattsmouth. Secondly we got billed for a procedure that was not even performed. When we tried to fight it I was informed that it was coded and billed correctly according to the physician’s notes. It was basically our word against theirs. Nothing we could do. RecommendedI love this hospital. From weight checks, GI and colonoscopy/endoscopy to nutritionists, pulmonologist, X-ray, lab work and soon to be endocrinologist - my daughter has had over 10 appointments since January at Children’s Hospital! I never expected to have such a thorough and caring experience to determine why she isn’t growing and what is wrong with her growth! It’s definitely not an easy adventure but the specialists definitely take every possible option into consideration!
Our daughter Hannah was a patient in April for 17 days. She received exceptional care by all the employees.
The worst ER I’ve ever had to deal with! My son has came into that department several times and every single doctor we’ve seen, has just sent us home with out any testing or listening to my concerns. Going forward they just kept saying “oh it’s just an upper respiratory infection”. which now we have to go and see a specialist.
my daughter has been sick on and off since september. I love my kids doctor at Children's but when I call in with a concern to the nurse I expect her to give my concerns to a trained medical professional a DOCTOR not her reading notes from a previous visit and making a judgement on her own. these experiences are making me want to change to a different provider all together. they are making just judgements they wont take blood to see if there is something going on with my daughter but say see an allergist. also being rude and... read more
Everyone there are amazing from cleaning crews, kitchen staff, nurses to doctors. Everyone just amazing. Best place to take your kids.
We had the best experience in the PICU North! The staff there was outstanding! So kind and caring! Dr Miller was wonderful along with Angel, Alana and Trevor the nurses! You couldn’t ask for kinder or more caring nurses! The rest of the staff from housekeeping to any and all ancillary staff was also very kind and caring! Thank you for always be there to take care of our most priced possessions our children!
Children’s is not only an amazing hospital, but many children I know with my son’s rare condition are flocking to this institution to receive cardiac surgery. We have used the sleep lab for sleep studies several times and it is very comfortable and gives very accurate results for sleep disorders. Amazing doctors and nurses work here.
Brought my son into the ER a few hours ago and all the nurses and drs were amazing! I specifically want to point out nurse Miranda in ER! She was sooo good to my 5.5 month old son. I couldn’t have asked for a better nurse. If you’re reading this, you’re simply amazing at what you do! ❤️
