This is what Children’s Hospital & Medical Center is doing for our family right now. They are single-handedly (bringing together a team of specialists, professionals, volunteers and staff) curing my son’s cancer right before our eyes. His progress at just half-way through treatment is already amazing. This is what this hospital means to me and my family. They are miracle workers in our eyes. This is baby Ivy Severson, we had an open heart surgery on January 2nd and are currently healing up in PICU. Just want to say how amazing the nurses and doctors are here. We are blessed to have them on our side.
After witnessed stroke like symptoms, we went to Children’s ER. After an hour she was triaged and back in the waiting room, after I asked what kind of time frame we were looking at, a rude nurse came out and told my daughter to squeeze her fingers and smile. Then said sit back down someone will be out for you. Another 45 minutes later we were taken to a room, and told a nurse will be in soon. After waiting 30 more minutes, we left. Unseen. We followed up with her pediatrician who got her into an MRI 3 days after the ER visit... read more
I truly believe that everyone that works in a hospital should shadow here to learn how to treat people. This is the best hospital in the world. Everyone has a smile and lets you be a part of your child’s healthcare!! Thanks to all of you!
My son has the BEST experience he could have had in the hospital after being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. The nurses on the endo floor were AWESOME, especially our overnight nurses. The kindness and humor you gave was first rate! Thanks to all of you from the “betes boy!” 😉
