NATIONAL IS THE BEST!!! I have been a customer with National Heating and AC forever. They are the best and most trustworthy company I know and I recommend them to everyone I know. Happy to see good service still available This to advise how pleased we were with prompt attention and service provided by Scott, and the subsequent installatiion work provided by Mike and Chase when they installed our heating and air conditioning system. If the system performs as well as they did, I'm sure we will be very happy that we chose to deal with National.
Thank You National!!!! My AC went out about 10 PM Sunday night, I called National at 8:00 AM Monday morning and in less than 2 hours the service truck arrived. The service man turned on the unit from the wall and then went outside to diagnose the problem; before I had a chance to get outside he was walking back to my front door. Problem solved, there was a lizard wedged between the fan and the shroud. Terrible Service Call I had a tech come out to my house and look at my air conditioning unit. He explained that the fan in the air handler was broken. He said that they do not make my fan any more, and I was going to have to replace the whole unit, inside and out. I asked the price, and I was quoted over $4000. I eventually got the guy to say that they could replace the air handler and every thing would fine, down to $2410. I had another company, Florida's Choice come out and take a look at my system. SENIORS BEWARE! My mother is 81 years old and lives by herself. She was having air-conditioning problems and called National Heating AC & Plumbing in Clearwater since this company installed a new a/c unit for her in 2005. The service tech named Steve arrived last 8/13/2010. He said that the unit is NOT working and she needs a NEW unit asap. Steve said that it would cost her $4,800 to have a new unit installed. extreamly happy customer I just want let you know how excellent Nationals employees do there job. Yesterday after a phone call to their office, Todd showed up to correct a problem I was having with my ac unit.He was very thorough explaining my problems, rather then having a new compressor installed, I elected to go with a new unit. Good, Efficient Service, Friendly Staff I recently had a young gentleman from this company come to my home, and was very pleased with his honesty. He came to basically check and see how my air conditioner of 9 years was running. I was charged $24.95 for the inspection. He told me everything was basically in good condition, but that there was mold and mildew on the coils and a few external places.
