Great staff
Communication between the families and the counselors is less than stellar. I was finding out things at the LAST second, through others involved not even from our counselor. Our counselor was constantly changing times on us, nothing was ever made clear, she refused to give us her phone number. we were met with a LOT of hostility when we pointed out that communication was lacking and it was effecting our family. This post is my experience only at the Norfolk VA location. I'm a mom of an adult autistic son. on Tuesday Jan 12, 2021. My son & I had an assessment to begin services with a male therapist. The young lady that did his assessment was extremely compassionate and very patient with us. once the assessment was over she advised us that the male therapist would be in touch to schedule a session.
