I have tried at least once every few months to sign up for a year or two, and every time without fail I always get rejected with the message that they are not accepting anyone in my area right now. I really really want to do this, especially as I am getting ready to move out on my own and thought it would be useful. Why do they keep rejecting me? I don't think there's anyone in my area doing this, so.....
After volunteering my time to record every shopping trip, which wasn’t easy as my regular store wasn’t listed. Those of you who have done this know what I mean, i had to stop, when my life became very busy with a person I was fostering. I couldn’t get right to returning the equipment, the company sicked a legal firm after me. I was so insulted, i decided the equipment would be returned when i had time to do it. Why bother volunteering, if the company is ungrateful.
