NAMI Montgomery County is an amazing organization with compassionate people who advocate for better lives for those individuals who have a mental illness, while providing much needed support for family members.
NAMI creates a sense of community, connection, and promotes understanding (breaking stigma) for individuals living with mental illness and their families. NAMI’s programs support individuals to live their best lives and reach their full potentials.
As a facilitator of Nami’ s 55+ peer support recovery group for the past 2 1/2 years and a member for longer than that, Nami Montgomery county has helped in so many ways. My group has gotten to know each other very well, support each other, at times meets outside the group, and is very welcoming to new members. They are very helpful for each other. At Nami Montgomery county, I have been part of superb wrap training, superb participation in group, and great togetherness at Namiwalks. I give it the highest rating, 5 stars.
