My visit was to review results of tests
Been with him for years. He’s very professional and I have complete confidence in Dr. Shumway
No I would not recommend anyone to Dr Shumway. I am very disappointed with this doctor. My first visit when my daughter and I were standing near the door about to walk out Dr Shumway was “yelling” at me as to why I didn’t tell him my past history that I had breast cancer or leukemia. He “yelled” at me not once but twice. My daughter is my witness.My daughter and I thought since he was in the same area with Dr Wagner thinking they shared the same files on the computer. My visit is usually on time, greeted by welcoming staff and they are professional at their jobs. Dr. Shumway greets with a personal interest in me as a patient and listens to concerns. He suggests treatments but leaves it up to what I decide. I have been very pleased with his care.
Lobby - big receptionist needs a better bed side manner. Lab - best ever when the test blood was taken. In back, I was stuck in the arm two times (two arms) before a vein was found, and then it was not done right because the nurse said she could only get 300 when she wanted 500. Needles to say I will be wearing long sleeve shirts because I am going to be black and blue and look like a druggie. Dr Shumway - the best.
