He's easy to talk to, helps with lowering a person's pain, and I feel like he truely cares about his patients. I have had steroid injections done for the past 5 years and everytime he's done them they have help so much.
His office tells you what to say so your insurance will pay. Like, how well did this procedure help you? Say number 6 or up so your insurance will pay. Also, he's made it hard for my new pain Dr to believe me because he lied in my medical records. He said I've always been on xanax for years so my new Dr won't give me.... Meds cause he believes I'm on xanax. The truth is I haven't been on xanax since 2008!!! He lied about other things in my records so be careful!!!!
I have been seeing Dr.Gonzalez for the last 6 years off/on due to insurance changes . I have nothing but respect and trust for any decisions he has ever made for me. I get my injections without any sedation and am always happy with the staff .
Doesn't spend enough time with patients. Unwilling to explain procedures to patients. All is well, until problems arises then staff is difficult to deal with and to remedy situations. Rarely answers phone and may take up to 3 days to return phone calls. Poor at communicating office procedures to patients.
