I was told my bunion surgery would heal in two years, but walking still hurts a lot. It's been 2.5 yrs and my foot still appears to have a bunion, and the pain feels different compared to before the surgery. I couldn't keep up with follow-up appointments due to the expense, and the doctor suggested a second surgery to fix the issue. Now, my skin is red and brown, and the prong marker they used during the procedure has left permanent dots on the area.
Dr. Napoli is the best. He’s friendly, funny and timely. The office is clean and the staff is polite and friendly. He listens to all my concerns and resolve them timely.
The podiatrist I wanted to see was on maternity leave, so I was referred to Dr. Napoli by the office. I saw him based on his rating on summit health, but I'm not sure how accurate those reviews are because I can't leave any review on their site. Dr. Napoli is pleasant and kind, but I would not recommend him for bunion removal. He or his team are sloppy. They left scars around my bunion with prong marks that are still visible after 11 months. I called on a holiday and was able to schedule a visit the following day I arrived early since you need to fill paperwork out staff was courtesy and friendly made you feel welcome I was called early saw the Dr on time was a thorough exam had X-rays taken the Dr reviewed my x-rays with me gave a course of actions scheduled a follow up and I was on my way.. Not sure why all the people complaining about the practice and the Dr
Great with ankles
The worst. Failed to read my x-rays correctly to realized I didn't just have 1 broken toe.. I actually fractured 2 and the bottom joint. Saw him 3 times and told him I was having a lot of pain and he said "take advil for a week, the toe has healed" , well doc, I just saw another doctor 3MONTHS LATER and just found out that my toeS never healed (they got worse) and a had an even bigger fracture on the bottom of my foot causing the pain. Thanks for the advil.
I had a good experience- he was patient and listened to my history- I had broken my foot 3 mnths ago & went to 2 other drs- Neither listened. 1st dr gave me a metal insert to put in my shoe it effected my nerve- Now I have nerve issue 2nd dr said I have a neuroma and need surgery . I didn’t think I had one after reading about it and then I went to Dr. Napoli who confirmed I don’t have a Neuroma- He listened, looked at X-ray and wrote script for Pt Seemed confident I don’t need surgery-
Great experience for Dr Napoli. He’s quick but it’s because he is very well versed and his knowledge of podiatric care. Great staff customer service in Emerson office.
