This is minor, but important, too. I had a long procedure (3 hours). I know the assistant probably tired holding the instruments. She had both a mirror to hold back my tongue in one hand and the suction device in the other. When her hand holding the mirror would get tired, the handle of that mirror was smashing my lip into my teeth and it hurt. Minor, I know.
