We had a fantastic time during our rafting trip. Big Joe was our guide. He made the trip. He was the main guide for the 8 rafts in the group. We played rapid roulette and that was one of the best parts of the trip. He is very knowledgeable about the area and pointed out many species of trees and plants. We would highly recommend a rafting trip down the river, especially with Big Joe as your guide.
Lower pigeon rafting in Tennessee was perfect for our 6-14 year olds. Tour guide Johnny was fun and informative and led our whole group of NOC rafts. We felt safe and informed the entire trip. i cant emphasize enough how perfect this is as an introduction to white water rafting for kids. We floated most of the time, but experienced a few spots that were more adventurous

one of the best places to go and hang out by the water and to watch kayakers and rafters! Also has some of the best food around!
It's been about 20 years since I've been here and it was my daughter's (6 years old) first time rafting. We we're both a little nervous but our amazing guide Caleb did a great job at making us both feel at ease. Had an awesome ride and will be back. Thanks NOC!!
We did a three day event with the Sierra Club, Military Outdoors at the Nantahala Chattooga Outpost. It was radness!!! The first day they taught us white water kayaking basics and we rafted the Chattooga River the second and third days. The NOC crew was amazing. They were cool, informative, professional, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. The equipment was quality too. The Outpost had everything we needed and then some!
