Have done the river thrice now and it has been superb fun every time.

Been a while, but they were very clear and serious about what they do and help you enjoy what could be a dangerous situation. They take LOTS of people down the river and do it well and safely.

One of the most beautiful places to visit, especially the last weekend of Sept. The water is cold, but the sales are hot during the yearly swap meet and NOC clearance sale. Located right on the Appalachian Trail. It's a must for kayaks, canoes, and whitewater rafters.
