Always late by at least an hour which I find disrespectful but was sort of getting used to it over the years. This year she pulled a new trick - billed my routine physical as an office visit solely because to her question if there was anything going on with me I mentioned that I had Covid 4 weeks ago and still had some residual cough and she responded that the cough could last up to 6 weeks. I would give 0 stars. We arrived early for an appointment, never saw the doctor as she was running 1 hour late and we were not notified until after waiting for 1/2 hour! We would have waited 2 hours if we were able to stay to be seen after 5:00. I later saw an email sent 20 mins prior to the scheduled appointment notifying she was running late. THey did not try to call me, altho by that time we were in transit to the office. In fact, I was only notified after twice asking when will the doctor see us? They expect a geriatric ... read more
I'm posting this, in the hope that staff from Dr Councelbaum's office will see it. My rating is not for the Dr herself. I think she's great. I saw her three years ago for a general check and was very happy with her and the whole experience. Fast forward three years, and I've not needed to see her for any medical reasons during that time. Worse Dr ever! I waited 6 months to get an appointment, than waited 2 hours in the waiting room. She rushed threw my appointment because “duh” she was running behind. A total of 10 minutes ( I timed her) she was suppose to give me 2 referrals to other specialist....still haven’t received them it’s been 3 weeks. Never going to her again.
