It's Saturday and I am recovering from a cold with my delicious Seafood Ramen. Do not make the mistake I did and wear a white shirt because in order to consume ramen properly, you must slurp. There was a nice amount of crab meat and 4 huge tempura shrimp in a nice tomato base dish. The noodles were al dente as they should be. They weren't overcooked at all. This dish was delicious and I can't wait to come back to try the Jigoku and Butter Miso dishes as well. They were very quick with our order and everything was hot and tas... read more
This is so so so GOOD! I can see why all everything were sold out so early. Will be back soon...
Very disappointed with the quality of the ramen and the bao at this restaurant. The broth had pork flavor but was severely lacking in salt. The pork belly in the ramen was dry and tasteless. It seemed more like pork loin than pork belly. I got the Nami Signature Tonkatsu ramen, and it did not have bamboo in it as it stated in the description. The pork belly in the steamed bao's were also very bland and can benefit from some marinade or add some mayo to it or something. I had very high expectations for this place, seeing as h... read more
It seemed promising and I was excited to try it but was greatly disappointed. Not sure if it needs some time to get the hang of it but I found the food way over prized for what was delivered. It took a really long time for the food to be ready. I tried the signature bowl and the pork was burned, hardly any seasoning it was really bland and not at all what I was hoping for especially for the price I paid. It seems there is still a lot to figure out in organization it seemed really chaotic and quality of the food suffered. It ... read more
TL/DR: VERY GOOD; will only get better when the kinks are worked out. Given the QUANTITY of product delivered during our visit, which did not have an empty seat in the restaurant and a line of 30 out the door, Nami exceeded my expectations for it's 3rd day being open. The Gyozo are delicious, crispy, and plentiful with 10 to an order. Serving them with fresh scallion is a nice touch. The breakfast ramen had a rich, creamy broth with perfectly cooked noodles. The meats in the ramen amongst our group weren't executed perfectly... read more
We had the Gyoza,, Nami Signature Tonkotsu, and Chicken Katsu Ramen.
I had the pleasure of attending the first Demo they had back in the fall. But comparing that experience with the one I had Friday night... I am beyond disappointed. I was hoping for a less casual setting. The ramen this time didn't taste as complex as the demo. I even noticed it didn't have as many ingredients as the demo. And while the ramen I had at the demo was fantastic I found the ramen they are currently making to be flat in comparison. Overall I was disappointed that it wasn't a sit down be served restaurant and the r... read more
I was very excited to hear about this new ramen restaurant opening up. However, it has been a struggle to find them open. I've gone to Nami Ramen 3 times to find them closed. They were closed twice due to lack of food. They were closed Saturday because of the snow that wasn't quite as severe as they believed it would be. I even came around opening time to ensure I'd get to eat there that day. It's a bit of an inconvenient first week, but I hope in a week or two from now, everything will be sorted out. Also it would be nice i... read more
There's potential. A group of four ordered five items, and only one was good. Definitely better places to get ramen in the area. Half the menu was scratched out, but that didn't count into my rating. My rating is based purely off of the flavor. Noodles were hard, basic bland broth, disappointing bao also. One arrived twenty minutes after the rest of our food. Should wait until things have settled and they've adjusted.
Nami Ramen has a 4.1 star rating with 980 reviews.
Nami Ramen is closed now. It will open tomorrow at 9:00 a.m.
