Nakato Japanese Restaurant comprises of three Japanese joints. Divided into a large, comfortable dining room for sit-down meals, a quiet sushi bar, and a hibachi bar, where some of the best Samurai chefs wield fast knives for your amusement, it is truly a unique sushi place. A lovely Japanese garden sets the tone for the subdued, traditional atmosphere. A variety of specialty dishes are offered, but most of the menu is served a la carte. A full bar featuring sake and beers like Kirin and Sapporo is available.

Service is always good. Atmosphere and Food is great!
Wonderful atmosphere. Toro Toro (fatty belly tuna) is a must if they have it! Great for first dates!
The group I was in was a party of at least 40. We all had the large bento dinner, miso soup, and green tea pudding. All of it was delicious!
Soda prices are super high. The food was great. All in all it was a good experience. The service was originally slow but picked up about half way through the meal. I think the server was kind of by herself and busy. Not really her fault, and like I said it did improve. I would recommend it to someone looking for similar cuisine in that area.

My family and I decided to come have dinner here after picking my mom up from the airport. My son is autistic and started to have a complete meltdown! The manager Shane stepped right up and made incredible accommodations for us! He offered us a quiet room in the back but my son would not go back into the building. I have been to the Charlotte NC location alot over the years and loved that location, we moved to Atlanta and decided to give them a try. The service was terrible both the waitress and the chef. Everyone at our table was extremely dissatisfied. The chef kept giving everyone the wrong food. the waitress apparently was working 3 tables at once, was barely around for any refills. In my opinion It's very pricey for a hibachi restaurant and they don't give you as much food as most hibachi's. Especially if you have food allergies and your food gets cooked in the kitchen. A side order of chicken was $8 and it was literally like 10 tiny pieces of chicken...it could not have amounted to 1 half of a boneless chicken breast cut up. �.
